Jamie Tworkowski is the New York Times bestselling author of If You Feel Too Much. He founded the non-profit organization To Write Love on Her Arms in 2006, born from an attempt to help a friend and tell a story. TWLOHA is now recognized as an award-winning leader in mental health and suicide prevention. After fifteen years with the organization, in 2021 Jamie stepped away to start a new chapter writing and speaking independently. 

A two-time TEDx speaker, Jamie has inspired audiences at universities, concerts, and conferences across the United States and as far away as Australia and the United Kingdom. He has been interviewed by Rolling Stone, NBC Nightly News, and CBS Sunday Morning. Last year Jamie began leading small-group conversations, with eight people meeting via Zoom to talk about everything from friendship to being single to navigating seasons of change. Jamie also introduced coaching and consulting on a limited basis. He recently returned to writing, with the launch of Ever Get Home on Substack.

A lifelong surfer, Jamie founded NEEDS AN OCEAN while living in Nashville in 2020. The passion project is "a beach brand born from new appreciation." Outside of surfing, Jamie loves his family and friends, music, basketball, and a little dog named Gracie. Today he lives in Melbourne Beach, Florida.
